The Hair Cut at Vemulawada

The hair which comes by birth will be offered to the god. The Akki n Lucky's hair has been offering to three gods first at Vemulawada " Raja Rajeswari Temple , Second  at Tirumala and Third at Medaram Sammakka and Sarakka Temple.

We  along with my parents started for vemulawada on monday morning @7 am and reached there by 10am . my in-law joined us there in vemulawada. the five hair cuts has done @ room. and has been offered to the Lord Shiva.

It's "Rakhee" time....

The Rakhee time ..the most awaiting festival for me...since we are only 3 brothers; she is the first girl in our family...we were very excited to get the rakhee from my daarling..Akki.

I had been to hyd  from chennai on rakhee day....first to  sainikpuri..from there me and father  been to SR nagar, there i saw akki first time in " Pattu dress" , I was humbled...Since time is passing, babies started recognizing the people. Akki was at very  first reluctant to come to me.she was crying....after seeing tears in her eyes....it's alomst crying moment for me there it self.

There she tied rakhee for his Gand father, for me and her brother Lucky ...then we left for sainikpuri.There everyone was waiting for  us ...She tied rakhee to every one to me , my dad, sandeep and seenu.it was a humble feeling to everyone.

Annaprasana : The first solid food feeding to the babies

It is the 6th day in the 6 th Month - The day come for us to feed our babies a first food.

                                     
                                         What Annaprasana means?

The mother or grandmother will prepare a small bowl of payesh (boiled rice, milk & sugar) which is blessed in a brief puja. The child will generally be held in the mother's lap, and a senior male family member (grandfather or uncle) will feed it a small spoonful of the payesh, to general celebration. Other members of the family then take turns to give the child a taste.
The feeding ceremony is often followed with a game, in which the child is presented with a tray containing a number of objects.



These will include:
1.a bangle or jewel (symbolising wealth),
2.a book (symbolising learning),
3.a pen (symbolising career) and
4.a clay pot or container of earth/soil (symbolising property). The child's future direction and prospects in life are indicated by the object which it prefers to hold and play with.

My Self and Manju , Both did shopping for Bowls,glasses and pens on the previous day. We planned it to do a Saibaba Temple, Officers Colony,Sainikpuri.The Day has come to us get up early and start the preparations , we gathered everything pens,Book( Gita),knife,bangles,payash...we been to temple by 9:30 am.

Panthulu, started all the process...feeding has started with elders ....we and everyone attended did the feeding. The game has started ..Srijan was not crawling really at that time...Snighda able go forward...Srijan touched book.Snighda hold the PEN in hand...Wow...it was a really enjoyabale moment for us....They brought ...big shining to our family

The Ugadi ;The Telugu New Year and My Babies First Festival

Ugadhi, The new year day for Telugu people. we will do celebrate it with ugadi pachhadi.( it consists of 6 tastes of our life...called shadruchulu).It is made up of the following material.
Neem Buds/Flowers for its bitterness, signifying Sadness
Jaggery and ripe banana pieces for sweetness, signifying Happiness
Green Chilli/Pepper for its hot taste, signifying Anger
Salt for saltiness, signifying Fear
Tamarind Juice for its sourness, signifying Disgust
Unripened Mango for its tang, signifying Surprise.

and it is the first festival for my babies.Both got dressed up pink,white and lavender color.They were looking amazing....i hold them in may lap...I was so humbled at that moment.They welcomed the kahara nama samvatsaram with their beautiful smiles....I love u snigdha and srijan.

The Cradle and Naming Ceremony

Once i saw a movie called "Daddy" where chiranjeevi was hero, he will have one daughter called Akshaya, he used to call her as "Akki", I have tasted the sweetness of having a daughter then it self i prayed the God, give me one Akki for my self, I have expressed this desire to Manju. Then she told me one story from movie called " Santosham" , Where Nagarjuna will have one son called "Lucky" .She told , i asked god to give me "Lucky" first. since then we named our future kids as "Akki" and "Lucky".But we never expected that god will give us both at a time. It was huge gift to us..probably he want to see the happiness in both of our eyes.

But as per rituals , the day ( 21st day)has come for my babies to name them, Search has been begin for the good names, My self, sandeep, Sandhya got selected some names and sent list to the manju. Finally she approved two names ....
Snigdha : The affectionate, beautiful,sweet..for Girl
SaiSrijan : the creation ..So we named them. the Function was celebrated @ The Country Club,Begumpet ,Hyd.

The day they arrived.......

It was on 13th Fed'2011, We ( My self and manju ) along with my brother and sister-in-law, reached the Apollo Hospital, Jubli Hills, Hyderabad.By the time we reach the hospital it was evening 5 pm i think i hardly remembered..actually the due date was given for 14 th February'2011. But after reaching the hospital the nurses took Manju for pre delivery check-ups;then they declared the delivery should happen right away other wise there could be a complications for both mother and babies....

Now Story Begins here....
Every one started rush to the Operation theater The Gynic, The Pediatrcian,The Nurses,and supporting staff...we were not mentally prepared for this at that time..all of sudden it should happen ..my sister in law ( Dr Sandhya ) she also went to the operation theater ..my self and my brother ( Sandeep ) were waiting out side...I called up my parents and in-laws..they started immediately to the hospital. my self and sandeep were little bit nerves and tensed...the tension is because, we were waiting for the result ( Actually we were expecting twins ) whether would it be boy & boy , Girl & Girl or Girl & Boy.....what gift are we going to Get.???? lot of queries are going thru our mind......process started inside operation theater....Then i got the call from Sandhya.....The voice on Other side said " Bhava Operation Success it's one boy and one girl".....

Oh my goodness....my self and my brother we started celebrations...we were very....very ...very happy at that moment...I felt I am the very luckiest person at that time.our faces were glowing like a 1000 MWatts bulbs...it was sun shine to the world but it was a raise in our family....by the time my parents and in-laws reached the hospital...our Next Generation Welcomed them with their Beautiful Smiles...............!!!
